Our Apprentice Program at all our Smhart Security branches: 

The economy is battling, jobs are scares and opportunity is hard to find, thus we have introduced our apprentice program. In our program we focus on developing skilled people and help you build a strong character and mind set.

Here is a short interview with Pieter, our latest apprentice that is based in Jeffreys Bay:

Q. How long have you been an apprentice at Smhart Security? 

A. I’ve been working as an apprentice for almost 2 months now.

Q. What convinced you to join the Smhart Family?

A. I heard a lot of good things about Smhart and decided that I wanted to take a shot at joining such a magnificent company. 

Q.How old are you and what qualification have you got?

A. I’m 22, I have a national senior certificate (matric) and I also have N1 and N2 in electrical engineering and am busy studying for N3 part time. 

Q.Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

 A. I see myself with a national diploma in electrical engineering (N6) and as a very well accomplished Smhart technician advancing up through the security gradings (code b etc) as far as possible.  

Q.Share one good lesson that you have learnt so far from joining our apprentice program?

A. Have to be professional, disciplined and how to work hard and neat. Smhart taught me to be even more responsible than ever.
