Job Title: Client Service Representative
JOB SUMMARY:
Main purpose of position: SMHART SECURITY is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our team in St Francis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client-related matters, monitoring client satisfaction, and ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service. Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and handle their inquiries, complaints, and other issues.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any problems they may have.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for improving our service and processes.
  • Manage the client database and ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Provide regular reports to the management team on client satisfaction and service-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to client service.

Job Title: IT Technician
JOB SUMMARY:
Main purpose of position: SMHART SECURITY is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team as a roaming technician in the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure, CCTV systems, and other technical security systems. Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and security systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on technical security systems
  • Work closely with clients to identify and address their technical security needs
  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect our clients' systems and data
  • Train clients on how to properly use their technical security systems
Key Requirements: Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT technical support and network infrastructure
  • PSIRA registration
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, CCTV systems, and other technical security systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Job Title: Armed Response Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
Main purpose of position: Smhart Security Operations is seeking highly qualified Anti-Poaching Unit (APU) Officers to join our team in Grahamstown. The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of Anti Poaching experience, be physically fit, have good communication skills, and be willing to relocate and reside on the site. The position requires successful completion of a Recognised Anti Poaching course both practical and theory by a reputable training provider, as well as a minimum PSIRA Grade C certification and a valid SAPS Criminal Clearance Certificate. Basic and Business Firearm Proficiency in Handgun, Shotgun and Self Loading Rifle is also required.
  • Conduct patrols and surveillance to prevent poaching on site
  • Respond to incidents and investigate potential poaching activity
  • Monitor and report activity
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Key Requirements:
  • At least 2 years Anti Poaching experience with good references
  • Completion of a Recognised Anti Poaching course, both Practical and Theory, by a Reputable Training provider.

JOB SUMMARY:
Main purpose of position:
  • We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting and hold a SAIPA accreditation or equivalent. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reporting and other duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with SA GAAP and IFRS
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analyze financial data and produce monthly financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting
  • SAIPA accreditation or equivalent
