November 2022 – Crime Stats & Smhart Tips
(Wavecrest, C-Place, Aston Bay/Paradise Beach)
Crime is very unpredictable and keeps us on our feet 24/7.
Our control room has been extremely busy with “call-in” clients, panics, house alarms, LPR responses and load shedding. But break-ins have decreased in all our areas. We believe this is due to our extra patrols and many customers opting in to get extra security such as Electric Fences and CCTV Cameras. The more security you add to your property, the more your risk decreases.
See the stats below:
Break-ins/Attempted Break-ins:
- C-Place/Loodspark/Central – 2
- Wavecrest – 2
- Paradise/Aston Bay – 0
That doesn’t mean that people can be more laidback; on the contrary, we all know that the holiday season is the time when the thieves operate the most, and that’s why we want to inform every Smhart client and non-clients to make sure they are safe at all times.
Be safe, and follow these Smhart Tips:
- Test your alarm systems regularly
- Test your panic buttons
- Close all doors and windows
- Report suspicious suspects or activities
- Walk in groups, not alone
- Don’t leave valuable items unattended
We set the standard and always go the extra mile.
Please stay vigilant and alert. Together we can decrease crime.
