JOB PROFILE:
Job Title: IT Technician
JOB SUMMARY:
Main purpose of position: SMHART SECURITY is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team as a roaming technician in the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients’ network infrastructure, CCTV systems, and other technical security systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and security systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on technical security systems
  • Work closely with clients to identify and address their technical security needs
  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect our clients’ systems and data
  • Train clients on how to properly use their technical security systems
Key Requirements: Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT technical support and network infrastructure
  • PSIRA registration
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, CCTV systems, and other technical security systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

 

SALARY R15,000 plus commission
